Orginal Mix

Pierre Delort & Remy Maurin Re:Mix

Peter McGill has been making waves with recent releases on Rise up records and Baroque. This release is no exception to his talents. Control Freak is a great rolling techno track. Solid percussion and a hypnotic grooves make this a dance floor must.

Our Favourite Tech house / techno French duo Pierre Delort & Remy Maurin are on the re:mix duties. They take the parts for ten heavy rounds in the studio and come up with a monster. It is no wonder they are grabbing such high profile attention.

Kimeko – Long Drive Home

Get comfortable as Kimeko is back and takes us on a ‘Long Drive Home’. Kimeko delivers the perfect summer vibes on this stunning deep tech house track. In the passenger seat we have invited Italian house head Mauro Meddi along for the ride. Following up ‘Think I’m Trumpet’ Mauro takes a darker house route and stamps his own style to this top remix.

So all that is left to say is buckle up, download and enjoy the ride.

Pierre Delort & Remy Maurin – Genkidama

Pierre Delort & Remy Maurin are back on Re:Sound with Genkidama. The follow up to their massive release Myint & Inis & Guns packs a real punch and is a proper twisted tech house record. With support of the Skryptom camp, Pierre and Remy show why they are becoming very hot property in the tech house scene.

[sic] is back on remix duties. After the success of his last Re:sound remix on the 1987 package that hit the number one slot in the trackitdown charts. [sic] stamps his trademark sound of party minimal to round off this solid package.

Two excellent tracks here that we are sure you are going to love

Hooker & De Freitas – Acid For Cougars

Following on from their recent remix success for D:ream and their awesome remix of Chrome. Hooker & De Freitas return with Acid For Cougars.

Big acid riffs, driving percussion and uplifting stabs make Acid For Cougars a sure fire winner.

Brady – I Dont Need This EP

Best known as one half of A/D/S/R. Brady follows on from his huge success with ‘In Dance We Trust’ with his first ep titled ‘I Don’t Need This’ on Re:sound and Midnight Temptations on Dojo.

I Don’t Need This is a uplifting hands in the air, big room house affair whilst Pandora goes for the more twisted tech house route.

Two sure fire winners on this Ep.

Pte – Left Groove EP

We welcome to Re:Sound Peter Heard, aka Pte

Lev Bot grooves along with its glitchy percussion and quirky vocal stabs. Swesub on the other hand is a main room progressive house heavy hitter. From the big room builds to the catchy lead riff, we think that this track is a must for the tech house / progressive lovers.

Pte serves up a solid two track Ep. This is the first of things to come.

Support from – Ben Coda – Sasha Le Monnier – Christian Poow – Peter Mc Gill

Dean Kenny – Chrome

We welcome Irish based producer Dean Kenny to Re:Sound.

Chrome shows off Deans style big room progressive house with it’s slick builds, big hands in the air riffs and dance floor friendly arrangement. This really is a peak time monster if we do say so.

Hooker & De Freitas are back with a slamming remix. Their own style sees them glitch up the original parts into a more percussive driven bomb.

Two big tracks that have been tried and tested in the clubs.

[sic] – chats all tech about studio setup

Dan Jeffries aka [sic] Talks Music Tech magazine through his studio set up and what bits of kit he mainly uses to create his sound.

Jed stemp – Temple

Jed Stemp returns with his follow up to the Aftersun EP, Temple.

Temple picks ups where Jed left off, delivering another stunning tech house groover. Solid driving percussion and a subtle riff. Jed is slowly becoming a firm fixture on the Re:sound roster.

On remix duties A/D/S/R come up trumps with another massive re edit. Rolling percussions and there trade mark sounds cement this pack into a must have for all the tech house lovers. With support from Mark Knight on his Toolroom podcast for their last ep Lemon Fresh. We are expecting big things once again from the A/D/S/R boys.

Pierre Delort & Remy Maurin – Myint

We make a quick trip over the pond to bring you two very hot slices of techno by French maestros Pierre Delort & Remy Maurin.

Myint is a midfield of rolling haunting percussion and riffs that twist and turn, build and drop. This is a pure peak time class. Inis & Guns again shows off the amazing production skills of Pierre and Remy. The lead line hooks you into to its quirky and again haunting sound that keeps building and building.

Techno has two new French men to watch out for. Viva la Techno!

Dainty Doll – Get On Up

Dainty Doll serves up two tech house groovers. Two very different tracks but equally as catchy.

Get on up goes down the old school riff path, but manages to keep it up font and rolling. A real sound clash of influences on this track.

Star Catchers slows down the bpms some what but the groove is what it is all about. This is perfect for those late night outdoor parties.

Jed Stemp – Aftersun Ep

We welcome Jed Stemp with his debut two track ep for Re:Sound, and what a Ep it is.

The Aftersun Ep offers up two fresh slices of rolling tech house with a old school twist with Indecisive and La Discotech

Indecisive is a driving heads down affair which is great for both warm up and main set slots also. It has a lush haunting vocal and touches on old school element with the stab line.

La Discotech on the other hand is a full on old school meets tech house creation. Jed has seriously gone back to the early ninety’s with the break down, but manages to keep La Discotech fresh and interesting.

A/D/S/R – Lemon Fresh

A/D/S/R have been making a huge impact recently with releases on some of the biggest platforms in dance music, including Toolroom and Hot Fingers. They have grabbed the attention of many of the World’s biggest djs and producers around and Lemon Fresh is only going to further cement their talents as elite producers.

Lemon Fresh is a great example of why their sound is in such high demand. The original mix packs a punch with it dark driving riff and solid percussion; this is a tech house smash!

Harry Brown – Devils Headrest

We are very excited to enlist the production talents of Harry Brown for Re:sound number 007. Harry’s productions have been a firm favourite in A list djs sets for a good few years now.

Devils Headrest and Sluts With Class really show Harry’s talent of being able to merge between house, trance, tech, and progressive genres seamlessly together. Harry has encapsulated the big room sound with emotion and energy.

What more can say apart from full support on these two gems are a must.

Juan Hougham – The Jupiter ep

We present the talents of Juan Hougham as he delivers his first two track EP for Re:Sound, The Jupiter EP.

Jupiter is a solid slice of dark driving progressive house music. Juan has crafted a balance between techy elements with the rolling percussion and managed to keep a progressive float with the drawn out synths.

Maximo on the other hand has a raw pulsing synth line that can cross over to edm, tech and progressive house dj sets alike. This is going to be a main time floor smash.

Juan Hougham is a name to watch out for and we will be adding a preview of his new ep over the next couple of weeks.
