Degenerate gambling spoon salesman by day, who often gives blood up to 5 times a week to support his habit…..ass shaking house rocking dj by night. This is the Yin and Yang known as The Sloppy 5th’s. The Sloppy 5th’s (aka Dave Raphael) horrible life choices seem to have no effect on his ability to stone cold kill it once he get’s behind the decks…..all his troubles are left behind…..his child support payments, his glue sniffing issues and his carpel tunnel syndrome from scratching too many scratch tickets – gone.

Dave say’s his struggles forced him to become the best dj/producer he can possibly be because if it doesn’t work out, he’ll end up in jail, or under a bridge. Using this motivation to stay out of the Dade County Correctional facility is actually serving him well as things are seriously picking up for this loveable misfit. His style is simple….anything that gets people rocking. It may be techno, electro or funky house, as long as it’s underground and the crowd’s digging it, then it’s a go.

You will be hard pressed to hear tracks you’ve heard before during his sets, and for good reason – he spends endless hours collecting untapped gems rather than settling for run of the mill commercial tunes. In a recent online interview, his now infamous quote of “Dj’s need to spend more time looking for original tracks and less time pimping out their laptop – the same laptop they play their pre-recorded bullshit sets on!” has become his mantra for some reason. If Dave sees someone “mixing” without headphones or playing nothing but this weeks beatport top 10, he’s been known to take off his clip on tie and beat them with it (and then pick their pocket).

With all the chaos in this troubled man’s life, this year his productions have really taken off, charting on beatport, trackitdown.net and other funky download sites. With Sirius XM mixes and Itunes Podcasts under his belt, a slew of remixes slated for release by the end of the year and a hectic production schedule shaping up, things are getting pretty crazy. So check out the music and follow the artist – it’s going to be a sloppy ride for sure. And if you don’t mind, leave your contact info – he may need to sleep on your couch after the gig. Thanks.

Darin Epsilon –‘ These tracks are just brutal for the dancefloor’!

In an era where it seems as though there’s an up ‘n coming producer living on every block, Northern Ireland’s Peter McGill stands head and shoulders above the crowd. His unique brand of tech-fuelled house has caught the attention of many of the world’s top DJ’s, including Mashtronic, Chloe Harris, Luke Porter, Darin Epsilon, Kev O Brien, Sebastian Ingrosso, Fergie and too many others to list.

As a DJ, Peter has been rocking clubs all over Ireland for the past twelve years, controlling crowds well into the thousands with the hypnotic rhythms and destructive basslines that he’s known so well for. His focus has now switched to his own productions, and he’s been hard at work in the studio over the past 2 years, releasing originals and remixes for respected labels such as Re:Sound, Baroque, Freaks Culture, Twister Tunes, Monu Digital, Forza and Rise up Records.

Peter is currently locked in the studio focusing on future original gems and remixes that you can expect to hear on Re:Sound very soon.

One to watch for the future.

Remy was born in 1984 in Sweden, he started to produce electronic music at the age of 14 going through various different genres and styles. In 2004 with Pierre Delort they started the project “Principles of Flight” which quickly became one of the most cutting edge psytrance projects in recent years merging hard-techno and psy-trance with a touch of classical music here and there, after releasing 2 albums and a few dozen tracks on compilations and EP’s they toured all over the globe and played as live act and djs at places like Fusion Festival (Germany), Rainbow Serpent Festival (Australia), Prism Vortex Festival (South Africa) to name a few! Under the last few years Remy has also composed and produced music for video games and documentaries. During the summer of 2010 both Remy and Pierre decided it was time to move on and started making techno togheter. First techno releases started to get released early 2011 on labels like, Skryptöm, Frequenza, Miniatures, Re:Sound, Land of Voodoo and have been getting huge support from people like, Stephan Bodzin, Brodinski, Ellen Allien, Popof, John Acquaviva, Umek, Slam, etc….

[sic] aka Dan Jeffries is a Bristol-based DJ and producer who is fast becoming one of the most interesting new talents in the minimal and techno scene.

With numerous releases and topping the techno download charts on Juno, [sic] is receiving support from DJs and Producers from across the world, including Jodi Wisternoff, Chris Fortier, Dubfire, Paolo Mojo, Gary Beck, Anne Savage and more.

When it comes to DJing, [sic] has developed his own style – Party Minimal – which focuses on bouncy techno basslines, huge drops and lively, skipping beats.
